Jeff Bercuvitz

“Enhancing the Community’s Viability
and Sustainability”

• STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING COMMUNITY PRIDE AND CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Jeff Bercuvitz is President of Community Innovations, an international consulting firm which helps people create enthusiasm and involvement in community building and wellness projects. In this session he teaches the audience how to: establish a positive atmosphere and increasing trust among key players in the community; inspire people to move beyond talking to engage in mutually beneficial projects; and how to generate the momentum necessary for tackling larger community challenges. With this approach, the audience can spur tangible successes in a short time-frame, and boost the confidence and energy of the community as a whole. Communities which are ‘animated’ in this way successfully achieve more meaningful results in less time, at less cost.

• ENHANCING QUALITY OF LIFE IN A BIG WAY WITH LITTLE OR NO MONEY
In this session, Jeff shares success stories from his work throughout the world, where he has helped thousands to avoid burn-out, and boosted enthusiasm and involvement in wellness initiatives. In this session, attendees discover how to get more people involved in wellness initiatives; how to energize those already involved to keep them coming back; and how to eliminate burn-out by making a wellness career personally sustainable and enjoyable.

• CREATIVE TOOLS FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING
In this session Jeff lays out a practical six-step approach to make wellness efforts sustainable, boost enthusiasm and involvement, and create effective, low-cost, community building and wellness activities. Jeff’s inspiring success stories demonstrate how to gain support and access to a broader pool of resources, how to energize and motivate people to get involved and stay involved, how to take stock of the full range of available assets, making use of “pleasure treasures” to identify and tap all your “people power,” getting “out of the box,” and using maximum creativity. This uplifting and practical session then demonstrates how to “ripple outward” to generate the momentum necessary for tackling larger challenges.
